Class 4 - SQL Scalability
An overview of how to scale SQL Server from humble beginning to tens of
thousands or potentially millions of users.
This class is focused on helping SQL professionals and solution developers and
architects with common design patterns for SQL Server scalability with
demonstrations and discussions on their merits.
Bob has been involved as Architect, Consultant and/or developer on many projects
helping customer scale out SQL Server from a single database server serving
hundreds of users to multi site solution serving potentially millions of users.
We aim to highlight some common design patterns for scalabity and then have a
detailed look at a few of them.
The class finishes at 17:00pm, and we will stay till 17:30 for group discussion,
questions or to help white board any particular issues.
